Welcome 2

This is Damaya.net. I created this site to display my various web projects and provide contact information for people and companies interested in my services as a web designer, programmer, and manager. Please look through my portfolio and check out everything on this site.

Damaya is also home to a number of talented writers and bloggers, who, I thought, deserved a space of their own. Everyone listed here updates and adds their own content through a Login interface built into this website, which is powered by Joomla. At the moment this site is in its early stages, but please return soon and there will be much more good stuff. Oh, why Damaya.net? Maya is my dog and I couldn't think of another domain name. Enjoy!

About Us

Hello, my name is Jordan Rome and I have been a web-designer for over ten years. I am also a writer, skateboarder, movie-maker, yo-yoer, and an all-around incredible teethbrusher.

I started working at UCLA in the Medical School's web department when I was fifteen. Since then, I have worked for Sarah Lawrence, City Bank Antiques, CUNY Prep, and, most recently, Cameron McPherson, who is a visual artist. Currently, I work for The City University of New York (CUNY.EDU), where I am a web manager.
