Hello, my name is Jordan Rome and I have been a web-designer for over ten years. I am also a writer, skateboarder, movie-maker, yo-yoer, and an all-around incredible teethbrusher.
I started working at UCLA in the Medical School's web department when I was fifteen. Since then, I have worked for Sarah Lawrence, City Bank Antiques, CUNY Prep, the Academy of Creative Education, visual artist Cameron McPherson, Louder Arts, and, most recently, BrowneStone Group Inc. Currently, I work for The City University of New York (CUNY.EDU), where I am a web manager, programer, and designer.
I'm well versed in html, css, xml, xsl, javascript, and php. I'm also experienced working with many content management systems such as Joomla, Drupal, Wordpress, and the Lenya platform. I work often with Adobe software such as photoshop, illustrator, bridge, and flash. I enjoy coding as much as I enjoy designing; so I'm open to most projects and if there is something specifically I cannot do, I do not hesitate to contract a trusted professional for the task; there is a lot to know out there on the web and I don't presume to know it all.
